Update 0.22: Content and Bugfixes
Content:
- Starsight can now be trained up to level 10 at the reliquary crystal ball, and above that by using the Starsight skill in combat (unlocked at level 10) 0.22a has a fix to this, Starsight was not unlocking correctly
- Starsight now has titles, which give some minor bonuses to critical rate and a few other things,
- If your lumberjacking is level 92, a new dialogue option is available with Master Osgood explaining how Starsight will be relevant to leveling up your Lumberjack skill (but you won't be able to do that until 0.3 in about a month)
Bugfixes:
- Corrected targeting of the Mana Bolt spell - sorry, it’s just a single target, not supposed to hit every enemy
- Added more filters to the time skip menu so you can’t do actions you haven’t discovered yet
- Improved logic following a certain fight so that the loop only resets once instead of two times
- Updated status skill list to include newly added skills
- Adjusted dialogue on some choices that aren’t yet implemented (and removed warnings from some things that are now implemented and don’t need those warnings anymore)
- Relocated people who are sometimes standing in the way for too long after their event has ended
- Also made sure they still show up when they’re supposed to
- Realigned room permissions so if the owner of the room is at home they will be the one to talk to you
- Removed an unneeded plant sprite when it should be removed.
- Changed some spell animations to better reflect what should be going on
- Melina at the Mage’s Guild got better at counting how many spells you’ve shown her
- Anthony will now stay where he’s supposed to be if you chop down the tree after the first day of a loop
- Made Melina slightly less forgetful
- Capped Evasion (and all other skills besides Lumberjacking) at 90. If you trained a skill above this level, it will be corrected when you check your status.
- Attempting to make a burn salve when you don’t have the ingredients no longer progresses time
Future Plans:
I'm working on update 0.3, which will further expand Starsight and let Graham's Lumberjacking skill increase more. I hope to have that in playtesting by mid-December and released before the end of the year; maybe sooner than that but I don't want to rush or over-promise (and my day job has been very busy recently, plus I have the holidays including my wife's birthday coming up).
